Qualifications:</strong></p><br><ul><li>Mandatory minimum: PhD, DrPH, or equivalent doctoral-level qualification in Occupational Medicine, Occupational & Environmental Medicine, Industrial Medicine, Environmental/Occupational Health, or Public Health with a clear occupational/industrial health concentration.</li><li>The doctoral qualification must be directly relevant to occupational health, mining health, industrial health, environmental/occupational exposures, medical surveillance, or workforce health-risk governance.</li><li>Candidates with only MBBS/MD or a bachelor-level medical degree, without the required doctoral-level or consultant/senior specialist occupational health qualification, shall not meet the minimum requirement.</li><li>Valid Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) registration and professional classification appropriate to the role.</li><li>Consultant or senior specialist classification in Occupational Medicine, Occupational & Environmental Medicine, Preventive Medicine, Public Health, or equivalent relevant specialty is required where applicable to licensing and appointment level.</li><li>Occupational Medicine fellowship, board certification, consultant classification, or equivalent senior postgraduate specialist credential is strongly preferred in addition to the doctoral requirement.</li><li>ISO 45001 Internal Auditor, NEBOSH IGC, occupational hygiene interface, health risk assessment, medical surveillance, or industrial health auditing certifications are desirable only; they are not substitutes for the required doctoral/senior occupational health qualification.</li><li>Priority profile: Occupational Medicine PhD holder, consultant occupational physician, or doctoral-level public health/occupational health expert with proven heavy-industry exposure.</li><li>Direct experience in mining, mineral processing, gold, phosphate, aluminum, smelting, oil & gas, petrochemical, manufacturing, or other high-risk heavy industries is strongly preferred.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to act as the company medical authority for occupational health risk, exposure-based surveillance, fitness-for-duty decisions, contractor medical fitness, and remote-site medical readiness.</li></ul><p><strong>Minimum Experience:</strong></p><br><ul><li>Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in occupational health, occupational medicine, industrial medicine, public health, or corporate medical services, preferably including senior-level governance responsibilities.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of direct exposure to mining, mineral processing, oil & gas, petrochemical, smelting, manufacturing, or other high-risk heavy industry is strongly preferred.</li><li>Proven experience designing, governing, or auditing Operates across KSA regulatory platforms (Fasah, SABER, Bayan) and coordinates government authority approvals (SFDA, CITC, GACA and others) to achieve full regulatory compliance and critical service deadlines.</span></p><br><br><p><b>Accountabilities:</b></p><br><br><p>Develops and maintains an in-depth knowledge of relevant Customs and trade regulations, practices and procedures and their application in JD Logistics and Customer business environment.</p><br><br><p>Reviews data for each shipment to identify exact Customer and regulatory requirements, together with the accuracy and completeness of documentation supplied. Follows through to obtain clarification when needed (Customer, Government agencies, within JD Logistics).</p><br><br><p>Makes the decision regarding the most appropriate type of entry based on interpretation of data and regulatory requirements. Escalates potential breach of regulations including all relevant support information.</p><br><br><p>Creates accurate and timely entries within appropriate systems ensuring correct declaration of goods is entered in relevant fields according to local country classification and valuation rules. Each import entry is the basis of payments to Customs and billing of duty and taxes to the right customer based on local regulations.</p><br><br><p>Supports the resolution of routine inter-company and customs disputes and/or the development of customised solutions by performing assigned collation of information, research and analysis. Resolution process includes drafting written correspondence, correction of entries, generation of refunds/credit notes and additional payments.</p><br><br><p>Responsibilities include preparing justifications for Customs to support decisions made and initiating corrective actions to avoid problem recurrence. Participates in process improvement initiatives.</p><br><br><p>Supports JD Logistics in achieving its Customer Experience related strategies and goals. Establishes and maintains effective Customer relationships and collaborates to develop a thorough understanding of each Customer's business, processes and requirements. Provides advice to the Customer on alternative clearance services.</p><br><br><p>Understands and abides by FCPA (Foreign Corrupt Practices Act) guidelines while conducting day to day business activities in clearance operations and also ensures peers and employees abide by it.</p><br><br><p>Creates and maintains accurate and timely records (hard or soft copy, databases, customer requests etc.) for all assigned transactions that provide an effective audit trail. Includes performing accurate and timely reconciliation of assigned areas (Ancillary charges billed, Invoices/Document filing and Cage inventory).</p><br><br><p>Performs physical checks on shipments/paperwork and examinations for Customs. Ensures scan compliance for a given area by monitoring progress and identifying and correcting any issues.</p><br><br><p>Reports any exceptions to the appropriate department/area and aligns efforts to resolve serious/recurring issues. Timely follow up and update of system files and resolution of problematic shipments within agreed timelines.</p><br><br><p>Performs any other related duties, including providing contingency cover, when requested by management.</p><br><br><b>Experience Requirements</b><br><ul><li><span><b>Minimum Experience:</b>2 – 3 years of hands-on KSA customs clearance experience in a freight forwarding, express courier, third-party logistics (3PL) or customs brokerage environment.</span></li><li><span><b>Platform Hands-On:</b>Demonstrated practical experience operating<b>Fasah</b>and<b>Bayan</b>for live import/export declarations.
