Role Description The Technical Interior Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, responsible for translating design concepts into precise, buildable technical solutions. This role involves developing detailed drawings and technical specifications, coordinating with interior designers, project managers, and contractors to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with codes and standards. Daily tasks include reviewing structural and MEP requirements, validating materials and finishes, preparing shop drawings, and resolving technical issues that arise during construction and installation. The Technical Interior Engineer monitors site progress, conducts inspections to confirm design compliance, and updates documentation to reflect changes. This position supports smooth project execution by bridging design intent with practical implementation and ensuring quality and safety across all phases of delivery. Things will be working on:BOQsShop Drawings Quotations Technical challenges on the design<br>Qualifications Candidates should possess strong technical design skills, including proficiency in CAD and BIM tools (e.g., Auto CAD, Revit), detailed drawing production, and coordination of layouts for interior fit-out. Candidates should possess skills in interior engineering and construction, including knowledge of materials and finishes, joinery and fit-out details, and integration with structural and MEP systems. Candidates should possess project coordination skills, including collaboration with designers, contractors, and suppliers, managing technical documentation, and supporting timelines and budgets. Candidates should possess quality and compliance skills, including familiarity with local building codes and regulations, safety standards, and best practices for luxury commercial and residential interiors. Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Bachelor’s degree in Interior Engineering, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field is preferred, along with prior experience in interior fit-out or design-build environments. Experience working in Saudi Arabia or the GCC, and professional proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
