The position will be based in NESR’s Oilfield Research & Innovation Center (NORI) in Dhahran Techno Valley, and will involve close collaboration with local Saudi operations teams, global technology partner teams, NESR corporate team (Houston & New York City), and world-renowned academia (Saudi Arabia & United States).<br>Responsibilities:<br>Technical & Feasibility Study Support – Support the NEDA team and country-specific Business Development function in writing up technical & feasibility study reports, as well as materials to be used in tender submission. Customer Diligence & Follow Up – Provide customer-facing support for key potential projects in the pipeline and assist country-specific Business Development teams on maintaining dialogue & momentum for projects in the pipeline. Project & Resource Planning – Provide technical assistance on all project planning activities (project execution will ultimately be the responsibility of NEDA segment lead and country operations management). Conference Participation – Participate in key industry events & conferences, as agreed upon. Internal Education – Support the NEDA segment team on internal employee education & outreach, particularly as the NEDA portfolio & project pipeline evolves. Understanding Carbon Markets – Become the in-country expert of Carbon Markets (e.g. Voluntary Carbon Market or Compliance Cap & Trade), to be able to support the NEDA segment in registering projects with a quantifiable CO2e reduction value stream. Technology Diligence & Portfolio Building – Identify and evaluate interesting technologies that could be added to the NESR NEDA portfolio through partnership, equity investment, and other collaboration mechanisms.<br>Job Requirements:<br>PhD is preferred; not required in Petroleum engineering, renewable energy, Energy Resources, Applied Geology or related field7 Years experience is the minimum Depth knowledge of minerals, geothermal, and energy transition strategy Project Design (e.g. FEED) experience is a plus.
