Job Purpose Responsible for the technical review, supervision, testing, commissioning, and coordination of mechanical systems for ensuring compliance with approved designs, specifications, quality requirements, and applicable codes. Key Responsibilities Review mechanical IFC drawings, shop drawings, calculations, material submittals, method statements, and technical submissions. Supervise HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and other mechanical systems. Review equipment selections, technical data sheets, calculations, and manufacturers’ submissions. Coordinate mechanical systems with architectural, structural, electrical, infrastructure, and other disciplines. Review RFIs and resolve mechanical design, interface, and site technical issues. Conduct site inspections and review WIRs/MIRs. Monitor contractor performance, workmanship, progress, and quality. Review and witness testing, commissioning, and system performance activities. Review NCRs and verify corrective actions. Ensure compliance with SBC, NFPA, ASHRAE, and other applicable standards. Review as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, and close-out documents. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant Engineering discipline from a recognized university. Minimum 10 years of overall relevant professional experience. Minimum 3 years of experience working with a Consultant / PMC organization. Strong technical background in the relevant discipline, with proven ability to review designs, drawings, specifications, calculations, technical submittals, and resolve complex technical issues. Proven experience in large-scale commercial, retail, mixed-use, or major real estate development projects. Strong experience in design review, construction supervision, technical coordination, site execution, quality control, and contractor management. Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC) and relevant international codes and standards. Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) in the appropriate professional classification. Strong analytical, problem-solving, coordination, and technical reporting skills. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
