Role Purpose - Coordinate aircraft routing to ensure maximum ground time utilization and to manage operation disruption of scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and to monitor the plan of short/medium term scheduled/unscheduled tasks including engines, APUs, and landing gears and fulfil the requirements of the aircraft availability. He can lead subordinates Duties & Responsibilities - Monitor and maintain Saudia aircraft’s maintenance forecast for continued airworthiness. - Prepare and submit short/medium term maintenance plans and schedules before deadlines. - Participate and support with other related divisions for maintenance requirements setup. - Create and publish short/medium term maintenance plans thru work packages according to timeline of workflow. - Comply with all relevant safety and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure healthy and safe work environment. - Develop own professional expertise through self-learning. - Undertake straightforward segmented data collection, analysis and report, presentation preparation activities in order to support superiors. - Coordinate aircraft parking process and initiate aircraft parking program. - Monitor & report validity of aircrafts documents and certification. - Coordinate with aircraft tail assignment team to react with aircraft health monitoring (AHM) alerts to reduce operation disruption. - Provide work direction and first line supervision to ensure completion of tasks. - Maintain awareness of developments in specific planning fields in order to keep informed and identify opportunities for improvements for the benefit of SAUDIA. - Review and adjust line maintenance workload by capacity planning. - Identify and addresses frequently recurring problems with level of experience, reaching solutions for chief’s review prior implementation. - Assist in interpretation and prioritizing maintenance work tasks and ensure each fleet type is maintained as per approved standards. - Implement the day-to-day operations assigned to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures. - Implement approved policies and procedures and ensure adherence with the process implemented so that work is carried out in controlled manner. - Implement approved policies and procedures and ensure adherence with the process implemented so that work is carried out in controlled manner. - Implement the day-to-day operations assigned to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures. - Assist in interpretation and prioritizing maintenance work tasks and ensure each fleet type is maintained as per approved standards. - Ensure to execute the schedule maintenance according to the plan. - Liaise with other related units for the maintenance requirements. - Develop and ensure that all types of task cards (MTC/TSV/CCC/JIC) are properly updated, and master files are maintained of all related documents with their current revisions. - Collect information and data on routine maintenance tasks, information and data on non-routine maintenance tasks, Engineering Orders and Airworthiness Directives and others. - Consolidate the collected information into a workload forecast. - Monitor the Plan of major/significant modification, inspection as required. - Forecasts on-wing time for engines and built-in time for APUs and landing gear. - Review the work scope of Aircraft heavy maintenance. - Review the plan of maintenance work packages. - Review the Schedule AD's in a timely manner, establish and maintain data. - Perform aircraft storage program. - Identify and addresses frequently recurring problems with level of experience, reaching solutions for chief’s review prior implementation. - Maintain awareness of developments in specific planning fields in order to keep informed and identify opportunities for improvements for the benefit of SAUDIA. - Provide work direction and first line supervision to ensure completion of tasks. - Perform related duties as instructed by superiors
