About the Role

Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib (HMG) is seeking a Paramedic to join their emergency medical team. This permanent role involves providing critical emergency medical care to injured and critically ill individuals, both in emergency environments and during transport to medical facilities. The position requires 0-1 years of experience.

Job Purpose

The primary objective of this role is to administer emergency medical care effectively and efficiently. This includes initial resuscitation, assessment, and stabilization of patients before and during transportation, ensuring their safety and well-being as part of a dedicated medical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care during patient resuscitation in emergency situations prior to hospital admission.
• Determine the priority for required emergency care under the supervision of the line manager.
• Assess the nature and extent of injury or illness, and accurately record patient information and vital signs.
• Deliver medical care during emergencies, including CPR, AED operation, bleeding control, and prevention of spinal damages.
• Lift and move patients as necessary for treatment and transportation to medical facilities.
• Monitor patient conditions and stabilization while en-route to hospitals.
• Operate portable x-ray machines and execute portable x-ray orders via RRT.
• Process invoices and payments in RRT, including collecting payment from clients, authenticating doctor’s orders through VIDA, generating electronic invoices, and submitting invoices and payments to the finance office.
• Operate emergency medical apparatus and equipment.
• Drive ambulances as needed.
• Maintain inventory of medical equipment and supplies, ensuring proper working condition.
• Keep the ambulance vehicle clean and in efficient operating condition.
• Assist in calming family members of victims and the public at emergency scenes.
• Provide patient and family education as required.
• Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
• Enhance patient experience with compassion, respect, and dignity.
• Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the scope of knowledge, skills, and abilities.
