Roles & Responsibilities
The Chef de Partie is responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency in line with Four Seasons brand expectations. This role supports the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in delivering exceptional culinary experiences in a luxury hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of an assigned kitchen section
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure consistency, quality, and timely delivery during service
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, including Prep Cooks and Commis Chefs
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene in compliance with HACCP standards
- Monitor stock levels, minimize waste, and support inventory control and ordering
- Assist in menu preparation, recipe development, and seasonal updates
- Ensure adherence to Four Seasons service culture and culinary excellence
Requirements:
- 3 5 years of professional kitchen experience, preferably in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurants
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and kitchen operations
- Leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate team members
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Culinary certification or diploma preferred
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
- Candidates must be eligible to work in Saudi Arabia.
