The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, visitors, and company property. The role involves monitoring premises, conducting patrols, responding to incidents, and enforcing security procedures to maintain a safe environment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify and prevent security risks.
• Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and access control systems.
• Inspect doors, gates, and restricted areas to ensure they remain secure.
• Report any suspicious activities, security breaches, or safety hazards.
• Access Control Monitor and control entry and exit points.
• Verify identification and visitor authorization when required.
• Ensure company security policies are followed by employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Incident Response Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, fire alarms, and disturbances.
• Take appropriate action to protect people and property during emergencies.
• Coordinate with emergency services and local authorities when necessary.
• Prepare detailed incident and investigation reports.
• Guest and Employee Assistance Provide assistance to guests, visitors, and employees regarding security-related concerns.
• Assist in handling lost and found items according to company procedures.
• Maintain a professional and visible presence to deter potential security threats.
• Reporting and Compliance Complete daily security logs and reports accurately.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, security procedures, and safety regulations.
• Participate in security drills, training sessions, and emergency preparedness activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Security-related certifications are an advantage.
