ROLE PURPOSE

1. Get requirements from business team.

• Meet with business team to discuss requirements.
• Address design challenges creatively
• Find innovative solutions to meet project objectives and user requirements.

1. Conduct user research

• Do different kinds of user research like user interviews, defining personas and making user journey maps.
• Understand user behaviours, pain points, and motivations.
• Prioritize the needs, goals, and preferences of the users.

1. Making information architecture

• Analyse system content and information in a logical manner.
• Structure and organize the data and information.
• Help users find what they're looking for efficiently.

1. Making visual designs

• Make designs using most known design tools (Figma & Adobe XD)
• Design visual aesthetics to ensure that the user interface is visually appealing and aligns with the brand.
• Make presentations that showcase the created UX designs.

1. Ensure Accessibility

• Consider the needs of all user types and personas.
• Ensure that the product is accessible to everyone including those with disabilities while making the system design.
• Follow well known defined accessibility guidelines.

1. Handoff design deliverables to the team

• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders.
• Ensure that the UX design aligns with business goals.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure that the design is doable with the technical constraints.

1. Create wireframes and interactive prototypes

• Create interactive prototypes and wireframes.
• Demonstrate how the system should function.
• Collect feedback from stakeholders and users.

1. Participate in Usability & Expert testing

• Make usability testing to get user’s feedback.
• Make expert testing and heuristic evaluation.
• Collect and get feedback to enhance the user experience over time.

1. Contribute on the creation of design systems

• Make design patterns, style guides, and design libraries.
• Develop and maintenance of design systems.
• Ensure consistency and the implementation of the design system

1. Follow UX best practices

• Follow most known usability heuristics.
• Follow UX known design patterns and guidelines.
• Deliver multi-channel UX experiences (Mobile – Tablet – Desktop – Kiosk -…)
