Job Title: Contracts Manager (Pre-Contract),6–12 years of relevant experience in solar EPC / renewable energy projects
Job Details Location: Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Salary Budget: SAR 18,000 – 20,000 per month (depending on experience)
Role Summary The Contracts Manager (Pre-Contract) will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing complex, high-value contracts across service, vendor, and strategic partnership arrangements. The role plays a critical part in contractual risk mitigation, commercial optimization, and compliance with corporate governance, supporting solar EPC and renewable energy projects. Key Responsibilities Contract Management & Negotiation Draft, review, and negotiate Head of Terms (HOT) and complex contracts including supply, services, EPC, procurement, and subcontract agreements with customers, vendors, and strategic partners. Lead pre-contract negotiations to secure favorable commercial, legal, and risk positions for the organization. Support the structuring and execution of strategic partnerships through robust contractual frameworks. Risk Management & Compliance Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual, commercial, and legal risks in line with corporate governance frameworks. Ensure all contracts comply with company policies, legal standards, and applicable regulations. Provide contractual risk advice during bid and pre-award stages. Contract Administration Monitor contract performance and ensure enforcement of contractual obligations. Manage contract variations, amendments, and change control processes. Stakeholder Collaboration Collaborate closely with Legal, Finance, Procurement, Business Development, and Project teams to align contract terms with organizational and project objectives. Negotiation & Commercial Strategy Lead negotiations with clients, suppliers, and partners to secure favorable terms and conditions. Implement financial and commercial strategies focusing on gross profit, cash flow optimization, and cost savings. Dispute Resolution & Claims Management Manage and resolve contractual disputes, claims, and variations in a timely and effective manner. Support dispute avoidance and resolution strategies. Reporting & Documentation Maintain accurate records of all contractual documents, amendments, and approvals. Prepare reports and analyses on contract performance, risks, and claims for management review. Education & Experience Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Law, Commerce, or Business Administration. Postgraduate qualification in Contract Management, Construction Law, or Commercial Management is an advantage. Experience6–12 years of relevant experience in solar EPC / renewable energy projects, with strong exposure to pre-contracts, procurement contracts, and subcontracting. Proven track record in negotiating and managing complex, high-value contracts within EPC or infrastructure environments.
