Key Responsibilities:

1. Invoicing and Billing:

• Generate and send accurate customer invoices in a timely manner.
• Ensure all invoices comply with contractual terms and company policies.
• Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to resolve discrepancies.

1. Accounts Receivable Management:

• Monitor and manage the accounts receivable aging report.
• Follow up on overdue invoices and implement collection strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of all receivables transactions.

1. Payment Processing:

• Process incoming payments via various methods (e.g., wire transfers, checks, credit cards).
• Apply payments to customer accounts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of transactions.

1. Credit Control:

• Perform credit checks on new customers and assess ongoing creditworthiness.
• Set and monitor credit limits in line with company policy.
• Communicate with customers regarding credit terms and collection status.

1. Reconciliation:

• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure all receivables records align with the general ledger.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

1. Reporting:

• Prepare regular AR reports for management, including cash flow projections and aging analysis.
• Assist with audits and provide required documentation.
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting.

1. Customer Relations:

• Maintain professional relationships with customers and address their payment-related queries.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer disputes and billing issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Accountant or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AR processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Oracle , SAP) and MS Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
