Overview

Your role

• Lead and manage traffic engineering projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
• Design, analyze, and optimize traffic control systems, including signals, signage, and road network layouts.
• Conduct traffic studies, simulations, and data analysis to enhance traffic flow, efficiency, and safety.
• Develop and implement traffic management strategies and policies aligned with project and client requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including urban planning, construction, and government agencies.
• Ensure compliance with local, regional, and national traffic regulations and standards.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to junior engineers and team members.
• Stay updated on advancements in smart mobility, ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems), and emerging transportation technologies.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 12 15 years of relevant experience in traffic engineering or transportation planning, preferably in the Middle East.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale infrastructure or transportation projects.
• Strong proficiency in traffic modeling tools such as Aimsun, VISSIM, Synchro, or similar platforms.
• In-depth understanding of traffic regulations, safety standards, and regional guidelines.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is desirable.
• Experience with ITS, smart mobility solutions, and sustainable transportation initiatives.
