Job description

• Effective communication and collaboration with Project Management Team and client representatives, contractors, and on-site staff as required.
• Ensuring Projects are executed as per the approved quality plan, standards & processes and in accordance with Environment & Safety requirements.
• Accountable for adhering to project time schedule and re-plan for timely completion of projects. Responsible for organizing and supervising daily operations on-site
• Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
• Resolve any problems and issues that arise at site. Escalate issues and areas of concern to Project Manager.
•  Ensures all documentation is modified and updated as necessary, the document handling system is maintained, and latest revisions are used for the construction work on site.
• Preparing status reports for use of Management as per the format set by the Project Manager
• Ensure the delivery and releasing materials to subcontractors.

Skills

•  Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering preferably in Mechanical or Civil, from an accredited institution (Master is an advantage).
• NEBOSH or Safety certification is a highly desirable.
• Preference will be given to the candidate holding ISO-140001 & OHSAS-18001 certifications.
• 5+ years of experience as Site Engineer/Project Engineer/Site Supervisor within Construction/Fit-out/Oil or Gas industry.
