Reporting into the Country Manager, the Finance Manager will provide financial leadership, analysis, and insights to support strategic decision-making and ensure sustainable growth of the affiliate. The role will oversee all financial accounting, tax and treasury activities in addition to planning, forecasting, and performance monitoring across brands, functions, and business models (direct affiliate, distributor, agency/commission).

Description
Financial Planning & Analysis
Lead annual budget, forecast, and long-range planning processes.Consolidate P&L statements across product lines (e.g., Gastroenterology, Vascular, Supplements).Analyse sales, gross margin, operating expenses, and provide variance analysis vs. budget/forecast.Support management in evaluating strategic options (e.g., direct affiliate setup, agency model, distributor negotiations).
Business Partnering
Provide financial insights to Country Manager, and cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, Medical).Support commercial teams in pricing, discounting, and profitability analyses.Partner with Supply Chain on inventory management, demand forecasting, and cost optimisation.Support evaluation of new product launches, business cases, and BD/licensing opportunities.
Reporting & Performance Management
Prepare monthly management reports (local + HQ format) including key KPIs and commentaries.Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial submissions to Regional/Global Finance.Track distributor/partner financials (commission, rebates, margins) for transparency.Develop dashboards and analytical tools to support business reviews.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
Ensure compliance with the KSA tax, accounting, and regulatory frameworks.Support statutory, audits (internal and external), tax filings, and external reporting requirements.Implement and maintain strong internal controls in line with company policies.Proactively identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Profile
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Business (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred).Progressive Finance experience, ideally in the pharmaceutical, medical devices or other consumer driven sector Solid experience in FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis), controlling, or commercial finance.Strong knowledge of the KSA tax laws, IFRS, and local accounting standards.Experience in SAP/ERP systems and advanced Excel/financial modelling skills. Experience in building a finance and accounting function from scratch would be highly beneficial
