Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Risk Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across our organization, ensuring the protection of our assets, reputation, and operational efficiency.
Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies and policies aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices Conduct thorough risk assessments and analyze potential threats to the company's operations, finances, and reputation Create and maintain a dynamic risk register, regularly updating and prioritizing identified risks Lead risk workshops and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate potential risks Develop and implement risk mitigation plans and contingency strategies Monitor the effectiveness of risk controls and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions Prepare detailed risk reports and dashboards for senior management and stakeholders Provide expert guidance on risk-related matters to various departments and project teams Stay updated on local and international risk management standards, regulations, and best practices Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations Contribute to the development of a strong risk-aware culture throughout the organization
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred Minimum of 15 years of experience in risk management, with at least 5 years in a senior risk management role Professional certifications such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) Proven expertise in risk identification, analysis, mitigation planning, and monitoring Strong understanding of performance-based contracts and risk allocation strategies Proficiency in risk management tools and software (e.g., Primavera Risk Analysis, Active Risk Manager) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail Strong leadership and communication skills to influence and drive a risk-aware culture Experience with financial risk assessment and management Knowledge of local and international risk management standards and regulations Familiarity with Saudi Arabian business practices and regulatory environment Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills highly desirable
