Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven General Manager to lead and scale business in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in e-commerce platforms, marketplace platforms, property portals, or telecommunications, with strong expertise in brand development, business growth, and market entry/startup execution within the KSA market. This role requires a strategic leader with hands-on execution capability, deep understanding of the Saudi business ecosystem, and the ability to build, launch, and grow a scalable digital or technology-led business.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Business Growth Define and execute the company’s overall business strategy aligned with growth and profitability targets in Saudi Arabia. Lead market entry, business setup, or expansion initiatives, including licensing, partnerships, and regulatory alignment. Identify new revenue streams, product offerings, and commercial opportunities within the KSA market. Brand & Market Development Drive brand positioning, awareness, and market penetration, ensuring alignment with local consumer behavior and Vision 2030 objectives. Oversee marketing, digital acquisition, partnerships, and PR strategies to strengthen brand presence. Build and maintain strong relationships with government entities, regulators, strategic partners, and key stakeholders. Operations & Execution Oversee end-to-end business operations including sales, marketing, technology, customer experience, and support functions. Ensure operational excellence, KPI tracking, budgeting, and cost optimization. Implement scalable systems, processes, and governance frameworks. Commercial & Revenue Management Lead sales strategy, pricing models, monetization frameworks, and partnership structures. Negotiate and close high-value commercial agreements and strategic alliances. Monitor performance metrics and ensure sustainable revenue growth. Team Leadership & Culture Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing leadership team. Foster a culture of entrepreneurship, accountability, and innovation. Develop local talent and succession planning in line with Saudization requirements.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Proven experience as a Country Manager, General Manager, Business Head, or equivalent senior leadership role, preferably in KSA or GCC. Demonstrated success in building and scaling businesses, ideally within marketplace platforms, retail, digital businesses, or multi-vertical groups. Deep understanding of the Saudi Arabian market, including consumer behavior, partnerships, regulatory landscape, and local business culture. Strong commercial acumen with experience managing P&L, growth strategies, and operational scaling. Experience leading cross-functional teams across sales, operations, marketing, finance, and administration. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a strong advantage. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a strong advantage.
