The Arab Energy Fund (TAEF) is seeking a motivated and analytically strong Analyst to join its Investment & Partnerships Division, supporting investments across the Energy Supply Chain and New Energy sectors. This role is well suited for early-career professionals seeking exposure to institutional investing, rigorous analysis, and long-term value creation in the energy space.
Role Overview The Analyst will work as part of a broader investment team, supporting senior investment professionals (CIO / Director / SVP / VP ) across selected components of the end-to-end investment process. The role focuses on analytical execution, due diligence support, and the preparation of high-quality materials to support investment decision-making within a structured, policy-driven framework.
Key Responsibilities Support the screening and evaluation of investment opportunities in line with TAEF’s Investment Policy and strategic priorities Perform financial, market, and investment analysis, including supporting financial models and valuations Assist in the execution of internal and external due diligence, including coordination with third-party advisors Support in preparing high-quality investment memorandums, presentations, and IC materials Support transaction execution, documentation, and deal closing processes Maintain accurate records, databases, and analytical documentation Contribute to portfolio monitoring, value creation initiatives, and exit planning Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across business units and support functions Candidate Profile1–3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, transaction services, corporate finance, or a comparable analytical role Strong exposure to the energy sector, energy services, infrastructure, or adjacent industries Strong analytical capability with attention to detail and sound judgment Ability to communicate analysis clearly in written and presentation formats High standards of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail Education & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, engineering, economics, law, or a related discipline from a reputable university Postgraduate degree (Master’s / Honors) is an advantage Professional certifications such as CFA, CAIA, CPA, CA, CMA are strongly preferred
