Job Purpose
Jobholders at this level carry out specific tasks independently but are subject to close supervision. They research, collect, and analyse information, draft reports and documents, participate in specific meetings and develop their own professional expertise.
They undertake simple operational activities including collecting research requests from committee members, preparing reports that highlight committee work progress, identify disagreements, summarize findings and actions plans to be implemented.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Establish guidelines and laws for ZATCA representation in different external committees
- Develop communication plans and templates to ensure smooth dissemination and delivery of committee decisions
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to identify and nominate representatives who will participate in external committee meetings
- Evaluate and monitor ZATCA’s representation as well as effectiveness in external committees against objectives and advise on needed corrective actions
- Collect research requests from committee members and conduct necessary research and studies to provide the appropriate answers and solutions for the related inquiries
- Prepare periodic reports that include committee decisions to highlight anticipated progress of external committee meetings and to identify and report any arising issues or disagreements
- Develop reports that summarize the findings of external committee meetings as well as action plans that will be implemented
- Follow all relevant policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
- Help in solving escalated problems and provide needed support for junior team to ensure work is carried out in an efficient manner
- Escalate complex problems to the relevant person to ensure cases/issues are closed properly
- Perform other duties as requested
- Train junior staff on the different job activities to ensure transfer of know-how, when applicable
- Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility, and monitor the workflow of subordinates/ junior staff
- Support junior staff or direct reports in order to execute their duties according to set policies and processes
Job Qualifications And Requirements
1-2 years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, or equivalent is required
