We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician with strong mechanical and machinery expertise to join the operations team at Salamah Vehicle Inspection centers. The successful candidate will be responsible for keeping inspection equipment and systems fully operational, leading preventive and corrective maintenance activities, and supervising day-to-day technical work to ensure uninterrupted operations at the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on vehicle inspection equipment, machinery, and testing systems Diagnose mechanical and electro-mechanical faults and carry out the appropriate corrective action Supervise the maintenance team, allocate daily tasks, and monitor quality of execution Prepare and implement periodic maintenance schedules and ensure adherence to manufacturer specifications Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, spare-parts records, and equipment history reports Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for specialized repairs and calibration Monitor equipment calibration and ensure compliance with regulatory and technical standards Enforce occupational health and safety procedures within the workshop and inspection lanes Recommend spare-parts requirements and support inventory planning to minimize downtime Report equipment performance, recurring failures, and improvement opportunities to the Operations Manager
