- Perform detailed electromagnetic, thermal, and mechanical calculations to optimize transformer performance, efficiency, and reliability, utilizing advanced simulation software.
- Select appropriate materials for core, windings, insulation, and cooling systems, considering factors like electrical properties, thermal conductivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and review technical documentation, including design reports, manufacturing instructions, test procedures, and bills of materials.
Desired Candidate Profile
Possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
Have a minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in power transformer design and engineering.
Demonstrate proficiency in using electromagnetic and thermal simulation software (e.g., ANSYS Maxwell, COMSOL, FEMM).
Exhibit strong knowledge of power transformer theory, design principles, and relevant international standards (IEC, IEEE).
