About the Role

Ozon Alawal Trading Foundation is looking for a Accountant to join its team in Al-Hofuf, Eastern Province. This is a full-time role and includes basic accounting responsibilities to support the organization’s financial operations by managing expenses and revenues, recording financial transactions, and preparing periodic reports.

Responsibilities

The accountant will handle a range of accounting and financial tasks to ensure records accuracy and compliance with approved procedures. These tasks include the following:

• Prepare, organize, and document expenditure documents, monitor their auditing and authorization for disbursement by approved regulatory authorities.
• Periodically monitor, collect, document, and analyze revenues.
• Audit financial claims and ensure all legal and financial conditions are met before initiating disbursement procedures.
• Continuously monitor operating and capital expenditures and compare them with the monthly financial position of budget items.
• Prepare accounting entries and record all financial transactions in the dedicated accounting records.
• Regularly audit bank accounts and prepare necessary reconciliations with monthly statements to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare the financial position and monthly summaries to provide a comprehensive view of the organization’s financial status.
• Prepare and organize annual closing accounts according to the approved accounting standards.
• Prepare documents and reports specialized in the field of expense and revenue accounting, and store them in the dedicated database.
• Contribute to developing accounting methods and procedures and keep up with scientific and technological developments in this field.

Qualifications and Experience

To fill this position, experience ranging from zero to one year in the accounting field is required. The candidate should have a solid understanding of basic accounting principles and the ability to apply them in a dynamic work environment.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al-Hofuf, Eastern Province. The accountant will work within a finance team to support the organization’s daily operations.
