About the Opportunity

LanceSoft Middle East is seeking experienced IFRS Senior Accountants / Accounting Managers to join their client's team. This contract role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires professionals with a strong background in International Financial Reporting Standards.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be directly involved in critical accounting functions, demonstrating a robust understanding and application of IFRS. Responsibilities include:

• Managing month-end close processes.
• Handling accruals and provisions.
• Overseeing fixed assets and leases, with specific adherence to IFRS 16.
• Managing revenue recognition in accordance with IFRS 15 and receivables.
• Producing audit-ready working papers independently.
• Ensuring strong month-end close and reporting discipline.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must meet the following essential criteria:

• 5-7 years of hands-on IFRS experience.
• Proven experience in IFRS implementation and operations.
• Possession of a valid Iqama or Saudi Arabian nationality is mandatory.
• Bilingual proficiency is a mandatory requirement.

Desired Background and Skills

The ideal candidate will also possess the following advantageous attributes:

• Exposure to the public sector.
• Comfort operating effectively in transitional or shared-services environments.
• Experience within large, complex organizations, with a preference for backgrounds in healthcare, public sector, utilities, or other regulated industries.

Work Location and Environment

This contract position is primarily based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires the ability to work in various locations across Saudi Arabia, including Tabuk, Al Baha, Hafar Al Batin, Taif, Najran, and Al-Ahsa, as client needs dictate.
