Dreer Real Estate Foundation is seeking a Accountant to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah Region. This role offers an opportunity for candidates with 0 to 1 year of experience to work full-time in a professional environment that contributes to developing their accounting skills in the real estate sector.

Purpose of the Role

This role aims to support the organization's financial operations by preparing and organizing expense documents, following up on revenue collection, documenting and analyzing it. The role also includes responsibility for preparing accounting entries, recording financial transactions, auditing bank accounts, preparing required reconciliations, and also preparing and maintaining expense and revenue reports and documents.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit financial claims and ensure they meet legal and financial requirements.
• Prepare, organize and document expense documents, and follow up on their audit and approval by approved supervisory authorities.
• Monitor current and capital expenditures in line with the monthly financial position of budget items.
• Prepare financial position and monthly summaries, and organize annual closing accounts.
• Prepare accounting entries and record financial transactions in records, audit bank accounts, and prepare necessary reconciliations with monthly bank statement matches.
• Develop accounting methods and procedures and keep up with scientific and technological developments in the field.
• Prepare specialized documents and reports in expense and revenue accounting and store them in the dedicated database.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Practical experience ranging from 0 to 1 year in the accounting field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Ability to audit financial documents and prepare bank reconciliations.
• Willingness to keep up with developments in accounting methods and procedures.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah Region. The accountant will work within a finance team to support the organization's accounting operations, with a focus on accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
