MEP INSPECTOR – SAUDI NATIONALS ONLY

Afniah Engineering Consulting Co. is seeking a qualified MEP Inspector to join our Project Supervision / Inspection & Technical Support team in Saudi Arabia.

The MEP Inspector is responsible for inspecting and monitoring MEP construction and installation activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, applicable engineering standards, project requirements, and Afniah quality and supervision procedures. The role supports effective project delivery through systematic inspection, testing, technical reporting, quality verification, site coordination, and follow-up of corrective actions.

Skills

• Strong MEP inspection and testing skills.

• Knowledge of HVAC installation and compliance requirements.

• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building services systems.

• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and specifications.

• Knowledge of inspection and testing procedures.

• Knowledge of applicable engineering standards and regulatory requirements.

• Strong understanding of site safety and compliance requirements.

• Ability to identify technical defects and non-conforming works.

• Strong technical reporting and documentation skills.

• Good understanding of QA/QC procedures and Inspection & Test Plans.

• Strong attention to detail and quality awareness.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant project documentation systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Saudi National with a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognised institution. Relevant professional or technical certification is advantageous.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum three (5-7) years of relevant professional experience in MEP inspection, construction supervision, engineering consultancy, or project supervision. Experience in HVAC installation inspection and MEP system testing is preferred.
