About the Role

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Project Engineer TL to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to the successful execution and management of transmission projects from their initial design phase through to final acceptance and handover.

Role Overview

The Project Engineer TL will play a critical role in coordinating all project activities, ensuring adherence to scope, company standards, and specifications. This involves meticulous monitoring of project progress, budget, and compliance, while fostering effective communication among all stakeholders to achieve timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all activities for transmission projects from the base design stage up to final acceptance and handover, ensuring alignment with the scope of work, company standards, and specifications.
• Coordinate activities specifically related to electrical components within projects.
• Monitor project schedules and budgets, tracking deliverables and progress using P6 Primavera.
• Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Forward engineering transmittals to relevant SEC divisions as required.
• Prepare regular technical reports and monthly progress updates for the Project Manager.
• Develop detailed weekly programs for construction activities and determine manpower and resource requirements to ensure timely project completion.
• Liaise with the construction/project manager, client, and subcontractors, and supervise allocated construction activities.
• Ensure strict compliance with project specifications to achieve client satisfaction.
• Monitor daily operations, ensuring adherence to established safety and quality standards.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for this position are required to have 5 to 10 years of experience in project engineering, specifically within transmission projects or a closely related field.
