Job Summary The role is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and optimization of HVAC systems within facilities, ensuring reliability, energy efficiency, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The position plays a critical part in managing technical teams, driving preventive and corrective maintenance strategies, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across assets.
Key Responsibilities Lead the planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance for HVAC systems, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, cooling towers, ventilation, and control systems Ensure all HVAC equipment operates efficiently, minimizing downtime and extending asset lifecycle Supervise and guide maintenance teams, subcontractors, and service providers to meet performance and SLA requirements Diagnose complex HVAC issues and implement effective technical solutions in a timely manner Monitor system performance through BMS/CMMS and recommend improvements for energy efficiency and cost optimization Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards and regulatory requirements Prepare maintenance plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies Conduct inspections, audits, and condition assessments of HVAC systems Support project teams in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new HVAC systems or upgrades Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and asset records Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components Provide technical training and mentorship to team members Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure service excellence and satisfaction
Tools & Methods, HSEQAbide by the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality, (HSEQ) policy, procedures necessary for the good conduct and safety of the workplace. It is a requirement and moral obligation of each employee to be actively committed and accountable to the compliance of Enova’s HSEQ policy, operating procedures, as well as being compliant to local legislation. The Employee shall seek clarification and guidance in specific cases or whenever one feels necessary.
Customer Relations Develop a pro-active working relationship with all authorities and assist in establishing areas for service improvement.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum Experience8 years of experience in HVAC systems within facilities management or a similar environment.
Job Specific Skills Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including chilled water systems and air distribution networks Expertise in troubleshooting and fault diagnosis Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Knowledge of energy management and sustainability practices Understanding of international codes and standards related to HVAC systems Strong leadership and team management abilities Effective communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities Proficiency in technical reporting and documentation Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
