Job Details

  • Install, configure, and maintain telecommunication systems, including PBX, VoIP, and traditional phone lines, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to voice and data communication networks, diagnosing hardware and software problems efficiently.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks and system upgrades to prevent future issues and enhance network capabilities.
  • Manage cabling infrastructure, including installation, termination, and testing of network and phone lines for both new and existing setups.
  • Respond to service calls and customer requests promptly, providing clear explanations and effective solutions for their telecommunication needs.
  • Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements and recommend appropriate telecommunication solutions.
  • Document all installations, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting steps accurately for record-keeping and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary equipment and ensure timely delivery and quality.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in telecommunication technology and best practices to continuously improve service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations during all technical operations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Electronics or Telecommunications preferred.

  • Holds relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA Voice, or equivalent industry credentials.

  • Demonstrates proficiency in diagnosing and repairing issues with PBX, VoIP, and analog phone systems.

  • Exhibits strong understanding of network protocols, cabling standards (e.g., Cat5e, Cat, and hardware.

  • Possesses excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly identify root causes of technical problems.

  • Communicates effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to interact with clients and team members.

  • Works independently and as part of a team, managing time efficiently to meet service deadlines.

  • Installs and maintains communication and data cabling systems.
