Roles & Responsibilities
Role Overview:
We are seeking a professional field leader to manage hatchery operations efficiently while ensuring the highest standards of biosecurity and quality. You will be responsible for achieving optimal hatch results and chick quality, developing the team, and adhering to international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all stages of hatchery operations to ensure optimal hatch results and chick quality
Monitor implementation of approved policies, procedures, and systems for hatchery management
Follow up on program execution and work plans to achieve operational, quantitative, and qualitative objectives
Monitor technical and production performance to ensure targets are met according to budget and operational plans
Track and analyze performance indicators such as hatch rate, embryonic mortality rate, and chick quality, and take corrective actions
Supervise implementation of biosecurity, hygiene, and disinfection standards within the hatchery to minimize contamination risks
Prepare periodic technical and operational reports and provide recommendations for performance improvement
Manage and monitor machinery operation to ensure continuous safety
Lead the team, develop competencies, and promote a culture of commitment, discipline, and continuous improvement
Monitor maintenance team operations and chick transport logistics according to established procedures
Coordinate with Production, Sales, Transportation, and Quality teams to ensure operational integration
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 22000:2018 standards
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine, Agricultural Engineering, or equivalent, with a GPA of no less than 3.75/5 or 2.5/4
Experience: 3–6 years of technical experience in the poultry industry
Additional Experience: 1 year of experience in breeder hatcheries
