Role: IT Operations Technician Number of positions: 1Employment type: Permanent Reporting to: IT Lead Location: Riyadh, KSAStart date: ASAPThis is an events-focused IT operations role, not a software development role. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the IT and AV setup for live and hybrid events, including internet bandwidth planning, reviewing hotel RFPs, shipping and installing network/Wi-Fi kits at event locations, and managing the IT setup during the event days. The role will also include starting Zoom sessions, checking primary and backup internet connections, supporting VPN/RDP access, projectors, wireless microphones, recording quality, and escalating any technical issues with hotel IT teams. In addition, the candidate will manage backup connectivity such as 4G routers, SIM cards and adapters, support post-event inventory/reporting, provide HQ IT support between events, and assist with IT purchasing. Must-have profile:The ideal candidate should have:5–7 years of experience in an IT role. Hands-on experience in hybrid/live-event AV and networking. Strong networking, Wi-Fi, VPN/RDP setup experience. BSc in Computer Science is essential. Advanced user experience in Salesforce and MS Office. English is essential; Arabic is strongly preferred. Comfortable with frequent international travel for events. Please note that the most important requirement is live/hybrid event IT and AV experience, over general IT support profiles. Nice to have:Comp TIA Network+ certification. PMI or project management certification.
