We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Architect of Record Specialist to support the successful delivery of complex architectural, infrastructure, and urban development projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring design compliance, coordinating with regulatory authorities, managing technical documentation, and maintaining adherence to applicable codes, standards, and project requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the Architect of Record for assigned projects and ensure compliance with local regulations and building codes. Review architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for accuracy and compliance. Coordinate with consultants, engineers, contractors, and authorities having jurisdiction. Manage permit submissions, approvals, and regulatory documentation. Review shop drawings, material submittals, and design modifications. Ensure project documentation is maintained and updated throughout all project phases. Support project teams in resolving design and compliance-related issues. Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and coordination workshops. Monitor project compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. Prepare technical reports and project correspondence as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture. Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural design, technical coordination, or Architect of Record functions. Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and permitting processes. Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office. Experience reviewing construction documents and technical submittals. Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working on large-scale mixed-use, infrastructure, public realm, or urban development projects. Familiarity with local authority approval processes. Professional registration or certification is an advantage.
