Roles & Responsibilities
As People Operations Officer, you support the People team in ensuring the efficient execution of HR operations processes and systems. You deliver high-quality administrative and operational support across the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance, and enhancing the employee experience.
You will excel and enjoy this role if you are ready to actively handle the following missions:
People Operations and Administration
- Maintain and update employee records and files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Prepare, manage and record all employment-related documents.
- Support the onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions after entering employee status changes (for e.g. transfers, promotions).
HR Systems
- Enter and update data in Sephora & LVMH HR systems (e.g., HRIS, payroll systems).
- Coordinate with appropriate stakeholders to ensure data replication in all related HRIS systems.
- Generate reports for HR metrics and analysis.
- Assist in the enhancement and troubleshooting of HR system tools and processes.
HR Policies & processes
- Identify and suggest improvements to streamline HR operations and increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with the People team to implement best practices in HR operations.
Payroll and Benefits
- Contribute to payroll inputs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Address employee queries related to payroll, benefits, and leave management.
- Support benefits administration, such as enrollments, changes, claims.
Employee Support and Engagement
- Act as a first point of contact for employees on HR operational matters.
- Address and resolve basic employee queries or escalate complex issues to the People Operations Manager.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and records.
Ad-hoc Projects & Support
Support ad-hoc People Operations projects and initiatives to improve process efficiency, data accuracy, and service delivery, including participation in system testing, tool implementation, and continuous improvement activities.
Desired Candidate Profile
You have a bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent working experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in HR in an international organization
Familiarity with HR systems and software (e.g., HRIS, payroll systems)
Strong understanding of HR processes and labor laws
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
Ability to manage data with a strong attention to details
Ability to work closely and successfully with others to deliver results
Ability to handle multiple assignments/projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
Self-motivated, proactive going beyond the call of duty, and result oriented
