Your Impact
- Establish and proactively maintain positive relationships with clients and partners.
- Collaborate closely with account teams to align with sales strategies, providing support through briefings, demos, proposals, Proof of Values (POVs), integrations, and issue resolution for Splunk s observability portfolio.
- Engage directly with customers to understand their IT challenges and business objectives, mapping these to Splunk product capabilities.
- Demonstrate Splunk s observability products and services onsite, remotely via webinars, and at field events such as conferences and trade shows.
- Apply organized and analytical approaches to overcome sales obstacles creatively and adaptively.
- Contribute to a dynamic technical organization with a rapidly growing customer base.br>
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or solution engineering within Enterprise Software, ITOps, Cybersecurity, or Financial Services sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver technical product demonstrations to customers in person, via webinars, or at industry events.
- Prior experience with Splunk, AppDynamics, or equivalent APM (Application Performance Monitoring) technology stack, alongside data platforms such as Splunk Cloud/Enterprise.
- Hands-on experience conducting proof of value engagements leveraging observability tools, including Splunk AppDynamics, for application performance, hybrid monitoring, and digital resilience.
- Experience working with financial sector clients, understanding their regulatory, security, and operational requirements.br>
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with modern application architectures including Kubernetes, Docker, or serverless technologies. Knowledge of digital experience monitoring, including synthetics and real-user monitoring tools. Splunk AppDynamics/Observability Cloud certifications are a plus.
- Familiarity with Splunk Observability Cloud, AppDynamics, or equivalent platform architecture, deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting, including setting up baselines, health rules, and proactive monitoring strategies.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Knowledge of AI tools and concepts, including LLMs, GenAI frameworks, or Time Series models, relevant to observability and security analytics.
- Knowledge of security operation standards and frameworks. Attainment of Splunk Enterprise Security Admin certification or other cybersecurity industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, SANS Cybersecurity) is highly desirable.
- Understanding of digital resilience strategies and how observability and security solutions integrate to support business continuity in financial services.
