Roles & Responsibilities
The 18-bed Pediatric ICU sees patients newborn to 14. Primary conditions are:
- congenital heart disease and pre- and post-operative cardiac surgery (there is a separate Pediatric CSICU)
- liver or kidney transplant
- hematology/oncology with complications
- immunocompromised
- acute metabolic disorders (e.g., MSUD)
- surgical patients (e.g., major general, neuro, vascular)
- ENT
- endocrinology
Requirements: - Medical Degree
- National Board Certification in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine from the United States, Canada, the UK, Western Europe, Australia, or New Zealand
- Minimum five years of post-specialty certification experience as a Consultant in Pediatric Critical Care in the United States, Canada, the UK, Western Europe, Australia, or New Zealand
- Academic appointment preferred
- Research experience preferred
