Roles & Responsibilities

The Purchasing Manager will oversee the full purchasing cycle, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with internal departments to support smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with the company s operational goals and budget requirements.
  • Manage the full purchasing cycle, from identifying needs and sourcing suppliers to negotiating prices and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery timelines, and service levels.
  • Negotiate contracts, payment terms, pricing, and supply agreements to achieve the best value for the company.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with agreed terms, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate with production, warehouse, finance, and operations teams to ensure purchasing activities support business needs.
  • Analyze purchasing costs and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records, reports, supplier databases, and documentation.
  • Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.

Desired Candidate Profile

We are looking for :

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in purchasing/procurement, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Previous experience in the manufacturing industry is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, supplier management, cost control, and contract negotiation.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, purchasing software, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
