Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of civil construction projects, from initial planning to final handover, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules, resource allocation plans, and procurement strategies to optimize project efficiency and minimize delays.
• Lead and coordinate project teams, including subcontractors and suppliers, providing clear direction, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure adherence to construction standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and prepare financial reports, identifying and mitigating potential cost overruns.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the project.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans to address potential challenges and disruptions.
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory agencies, providing regular project updates.
• Resolve project-related issues and conflicts promptly and effectively, minimizing disruptions and maintaining project momentum.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a safe and sustainable work environment.

Desired Candidate Profile

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required, demonstrating a strong foundation in engineering principles.

• Possessing a Professional Engineer license demonstrates professional competence and ethical standards.

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in civil construction project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

• Demonstrated experience in managing civil construction projects in the buildings sector (schools, hospitals, residential/commercial/mixed-use, recreational facilities, hotels, etc.) in Saudi Arabia.

• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and equipment, enabling effective project planning and execution.

• Excellent knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards, ensuring project compliance and worker safety.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, fostering effective teamwork and stakeholder collaboration.

• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera and other relevant tools, enhancing project efficiency and control.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, enabling effective decision-making and issue resolution in dynamic project environments.

• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines, ensuring project success in demanding conditions.
