JASARA PMC is seeking a highly motivated Senior Commercial Manager to join our team.
This role involves leading commercial management activities across a broad portfolio of projects, ensuring commercial strategies are implemented effectively to achieve business objectives.
The Senior Commercial Manager will drive contract administration, procurement processes, and financial oversight, ensuring compliance and managing risks to maximize project success and profitability.
Working closely with project teams, stakeholders, and external partners, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality infrastructure programs and fostering General Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive commercial strategies for residential development projects.
Liaise with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies related to commercial activities including change management and claim management.
Lead, motivate, and develop the commercial team to enhance performance and professional growth.
Report regularly to senior management on commercial performance and key project milestones.
Identify opportunities to optimize costs and improve operational efficiencies in residential developments.
Consultant Procurement Services relating to the competitive appointment of design and engineering consultants in connection with the design and delivery of residential assets.
The Services may include, but not be limited to: Prepare the commercial sections of Request for Proposal (RFP) documents, Ensure scope of services section of RFPs are commercially robust, Undertake the commercial assessment of consultant proposals, Raise and close out necessary commercial post-tender clarifications to ensure bid compliance, Prepare consultant award recommendations, Review draft agreements for completeness in accordance with the RFP and bid negotiations.
Post-Contract Commercial Management Services relating to the post-contract commercial management of design and build contracts for construction of residential buildings.
The Services may include, but not be limited to: Management of the interim payment process, Management of the change control process, Management of contractor claims, Cost reporting.
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
15 years of relevant experience, 2 years of experience client side GCC Experience (Middle East) Residential background.
2-3 years MRICS – Certified (Plus) Ability to read Arabic (Plus) Contruent (Ares Prism) experience (Plus)
