Key Responsibilities Lead, Direct, and Develop Operations Lead and develop operations in line with business objectives Consolidate operations and workforce planning; secure approval on priorities and investments Propose and manage operations budget with relevant stakeholders Ensure capacity and competency for project mobilisation and delivery Oversee asset and fleet management (including maintenance and repairs) Align “make or buy†decisions with global teams Identify and implement cost and service quality optimisation initiatives Develop partnerships with third-party providers and key industry players Ensure accurate P&L tracking and reporting, while meeting and optimizing budgets Govern Operational Plans & Contract Delivery Oversee all projects to ensure high-quality, cost-effective delivery with minimal risk Manage contracts and ensure full compliance with requirements Monitor financial performance and intervene where necessary Drive continuous improvement initiatives (routes, dispatch, customer satisfaction, etc.) Ensure SHEQ compliance and implementation across operations Deliver accurate KPI reporting and maintain service quality standards Manage Key Accounts & Drive Growth Support go-to-market strategies and client growth initiatives Identify and support new business and upselling opportunities Maintain strong relationships with strategic and cross-country clients Oversee customer service delivery in line with company standards Support collections and client issue resolution when required Contribute to revenue growth, diversification, and customer retention Support Global Operations Team Provide market insights and operational feedback to global teams Support execution of global and cross-country initiatives Share best practices and contribute to innovation and advisory networks Drive performance management of delivery teams Identify risks and opportunities to support strategic decision-making Assist in rolling out corporate and global programs People Management Build, lead, and develop high-performing operations teams Manage team performance and ensure completion of performance reviews Foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing across functions Drive talent development, succession planning, and mobility opportunities Address performance and discipline issues in line with company policies Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Compliance Ensure full compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and regulations Promote a strong safety culture across all operations Identify and report any risks, incidents, or violations proactively Risk Management Identify, assess, and monitor operational and business risks Report risks clearly to relevant stakeholders Build awareness and capability within teams to manage risk effectively
Qualifications Degree in BBA or Bachelor of Engineering PMP certification (Advantageous) MBA (Advantageous)
Experience Minimum of 7 years’ management level experience in related field Experience of waste management/ environmental services is advantageous
Knowledge Fluent in English Fluent in Arabic (applicable for Public Sector contracts) Hindi is advantageous (applicable for Commercial contracts) Wide knowledge of Environment Services industry Sound knowledge of financial management and wider management principles Knowledge in nature of the job
