About the Rolewe are looking for candidates with a stronger and solid focus on Kubernetes experience.
The candidate must demonstrate strong technical capabilities across CI/CD, container orchestration, source code management, environment automation, and monitoring. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth releases, stable environments, and reliable deployment pipelines across all development and production platforms.

Key Responsibilities:Manage and maintain Git Lab repositories, users, permissions, and branching models. Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for multiple projects. Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot services running on Native Kubernetes clusters. Manage artifacts and packages using Nexus Repository Manager (or equivalent repo management systems). Execute and improve release management processes including versioning, branching strategy, release notes, deployment plans, and rollback procedures. Support deployment models such as Blue/Green, Canary, and Rolling deployments. Implement and maintain monitoring and logging using ELK Stack and Grafana. Follow and enforce best practices in Dev Ops, automation, IaC, and environment governance. Collaborate with Development, QA, and Operations teams to ensure consistent delivery processes. Apply basic security practices to pipelines, clusters, and repository systems. Assist in incident resolution, root‑cause analysis, and environment health reviews. Maintain documentation for pipelines, deployments, processes, and operational runbooks.

Required Technical Skills:Dev Ops & CI/CDStrong experience with Git Lab (Projects, Groups, Access Control, Branching Strategy). Ability to build, maintain, and optimize Git Lab CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of merge strategies, pipeline workflows, tagging, versioning, and branching models (Git Flow, Trunk‑based, Release branching).
Kubernetes Hands‑on experience with Native Kubernetes clusters (not managed services). Working knowledge of Pods, Deployments, Services, Ingress, Config Maps, Secrets. Experience troubleshooting workloads, logs, and cluster‑level issues.
Repository Management Experience with Nexus Repository Manager or equivalent. Managing artifacts, containers, binaries, versioning, and retention policies.
Monitoring & Logging ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) Grafana
Release & Deployment:Strong understanding of:Release cycles & workflows Blue/Green deployment Canary deployment Rollback strategies Deployment plans and release readiness checks
Security & Compliance:Basic understanding of:Secure CI/CD pipelines Credential & secret management Access control Container image security basics
Development Skills (Basic):Ability to read and understand application code Basic scripting (Bash, Python, or Power Shell). Understanding of API integrations and automation.
