Job Title: OT Cybersecurity Engineer Job Purpose The OT Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for protecting Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Operational Technology (OT) environments against cyber threats and ensuring compliance with the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) controls and relevant international standards. The role ensures the security, reliability, and continuity of critical industrial infrastructure by assessing vulnerabilities, enhancing industrial network architecture, and detecting and responding to cybersecurity threats. Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Work Experience Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in cybersecurity within industrial or technical environments. Proven experience in implementing National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) controls. Hands-on experience in securing Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Operational Technology (OT) environments. Key Responsibilities Implement and maintain National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) controls and requirements. Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and vulnerability assessments for OT environments. Monitor industrial networks and detect, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity threats. Design and maintain secure architectures integrating OT and IT environments. Investigate cybersecurity incidents and lead emergency response and recovery activities. Deliver cybersecurity awareness and training programs for OT personnel. Ensure ongoing compliance through regular audits, assessments, and reporting. Manage and maintain cybersecurity technologies and technical protection solutions. Coordinate with vendors to ensure continuous updates and patching of OT assets without disrupting production continuity. Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the direct manager. Preferred Skills and Certifications Strong knowledge of Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and SCADA environments. Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection solutions. Familiarity with ISA/IEC 62443, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and NCA ECC controls. Experience in incident response, threat hunting, and vulnerability management. Preferred certifications: GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) CISSP CISM ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Certifications CEH Preferred Industry Experience Cement manufacturing.
