We are looking for a highly driven and experienced Senior Account Manager to be fully seconded within a high-profile government entity.
This is a client-facing, strategic role that demands strong strategic advisory skills, a deep understanding of media and digital landscapes, and the ability to translate complex technical topics into compelling narratives for a range of stakeholders. The role also includes supporting regional communications and advisory across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, working across diverse audiences and markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of strategic communications plans that align with the client’s overarching goals.
- Serve as the daily client advisor on media positioning, engagement strategy, and high-impact storytelling opportunities.
- Craft executive messaging, press releases, thought leadership, speeches, briefing notes, media responses, and stakeholder materials.
- Support reputation management and media relations—proactively identify media opportunities, secure coverage, and manage journalist relationships.
- Ensure alignment of communications outputs with national strategies
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, agency teams, and cross-functional partners to ensure consistent narrative and brand positioning.
- Coordinate with digital and creative teams to deliver integrated campaigns across traditional and online platforms.
Qualifications:
- Holds a bachelor's degree in business, International Relations, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in strategic coms.
- Possesses a robust understanding of the regulatory landscape in the region.
- Utilizes all available tools and resources effectively to complete internal client tasks.
- Understands traditional and social media channels thoroughly.
- Builds media and government stakeholder relationships convincingly and methodically.
- Delivers strong and engaging presentations.
- Collaborates effectively within a team environment in a resourceful manner.
- Communicates with excellence in both written and verbal forms.
- Adapts flexibly to changing priorities and environments.
