Roles & Responsibilities
Serves as the 15D Powertrain Instructor under the guidance of the Aviation Institute's Technical Department Training Manager. This role involves delivering instruction for the 15D MOS Qualification Course, including academic teaching, hands-on performance training, evaluations, and developing course schedules to ensure students meet proficiency and maintenance standards. Additionally, responsible for maintaining accurate Student Training Records.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of the US Army 15D Aircraft Powertrain Repairer course or an equivalent military/civilian program.
- At least 6 years of experience as an Aircraft Powertrain Repairer or equivalent experience.
- Capable of developing syllabi and providing instruction to 15D Powertrain Repairer candidates.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Army Aviation training concepts, administration, operations, and logistics.
- Proven ability to manage a team to achieve organizational goals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; must be experienced in using Adobe Pro and other relevant programs and applications.
