Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform spectrometric oil analysis on samples using appropriate testing methods.
  • Receive, record, prioritize, and prepare oil and other liquid samples for analysis.
  • Analyze test results and identify abnormal wear, contamination, or other issues.
  • Transfer and maintain accurate test data in master data systems.
  • Notify leadership and quality control personnel of results exceeding established thresholds.
  • Perform in-house calibration of tools and test equipment, including adjustments, minor repairs, and maintenance.
  • Maintain records of all equipment requiring calibration and ensure compliance with schedules.
  • Support calibration programs, systems, and subsystems.
  • Utilize and interpret military and civilian publications related to oil analysis and calibration programs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate of Science degree highly desired.
  • Graduate of a Spectrometric Oil Analysis Operator/Evaluator (Atomic Emission Spectrometer) course or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in oil analysis programs within the last 10 years.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written).
  • Fluent in English.
