Overview

Responsibilities
- Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult and complex project control problems.
- Interface with stakeholders, attend regular meetings, and provide statistical reports.
- Provide project and company management with the necessary tools for project cost control.
- Develop the work breakdown structure, interfacing with all affected departments.
- Analyze, evaluate, forecast, and report schedule status against an established baseline; analyze, evaluate, and forecast project costs and performance.
- Coordinate staffing requirements, assign and supervise project work activities, and train personnel.
- Accumulate and access historical data, such as performance experience, for use in maintaining a realistic basis for future planning and forecasting.
- Assess the impact(s) of design and construction changes and schedule slippages.
- Develop or maintain an established system to show the hierarchy of plans and schedules; keep project and company management fully informed.
- Customize project control systems to meet specific project requirements.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with relevant quality, environmental, safety, and occupational health policies, manuals, and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager or supervisor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management.
- 10-15 years of related work experience in GCC projects.
- Basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or a related field.
- Proficient in Primavera P6 skills, including proficiency in various project controls software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Potential to perform in a lead capacity.
- Familiarity with industry practices.
- Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working internationally, with preference for GCC experience.
