Overview
The CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of the CMMS to support efficient asset management and maintenance operations. This role ensures that maintenance workflows, asset tracking, and data management processes are streamlined to improve system reliability and operational efficiency. The CMMS Manager works closely with engineering, maintenance, and IT teams to ensure accurate data, effective system usage, and continuous improvement in maintenance practices. The position requires strong technical knowledge along with managerial capabilities to drive system performance and support organizational objectives.
Your role
- Manage and administer the CMMS to ensure optimal system performance
- Oversee asset management, maintenance scheduling, and work order processes
- Ensure accurate data entry, asset hierarchy, and system configuration
- Develop and implement CMMS strategies to improve maintenance efficiency
- Monitor system usage and ensure compliance with maintenance procedures
- Generate reports, dashboards, and analytics for performance monitoring
- Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs using CMMS data
- Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and IT teams for system improvements
- Train users and provide technical support for CMMS applications
- Ensure data integrity, security, and system reliability
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
- Manage system upgrades, integrations, and vendor coordination
Desired Candidate Profile
Job Description
About you
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience working with CMMS software and maintenance systems
- Strong knowledge of asset management and maintenance workflows
- Experience in CMMS platforms (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo, Infor, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage large datasets and generate actionable insights
- Good understanding of maintenance strategies (preventive, predictive, corrective)
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Experience in reporting, dashboards, and data analysis tools
- Ability to manage system configurations and user requirements
