Responsibilities
Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior Structural Engineer (Civil) to join our award winning team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
This critical role will be assigned to a project of major importance to part of the Kingdom's 2030 vision. The successful Senior Structural Engineer will work within the wider team to ensure that KEO delivers consultancy service to the highest standards for our client.
We envisage success in this role to include:
Developing and maintaining professional and meaningful relationships with the client to ensure program and project requirements are being satisfied.
Ensuring the delivery of the contracted Design and Construction Management services to the client.
Managing and directing the development and maintenance of the program and project schedules for all phases of the project including procurement, planning, design and construction.
Leading the design, analysis, and modeling of complex structural systems for a variety of projects, including RCC buildings, bridges, structural steel facades / roofs and other infrastructure, ensuring that they meet safety, durability, and performance standards.
Performing detailed structural calculations and simulations to ensure the safety, stability, and efficiency of designs under various load conditions (e.g., seismic, wind, live loads).
Collaborating closely with architects, MEP engineers, and other disciplines to integrate structural systems with overall building designs and ensure coordination across all aspects of the project.
Offering technical support to contractors during the construction phase, reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs (Requests for Information), and resolving design-related issues on-site.
Collaborating with project managers to estimate costs for structural work, assist in budgeting, and find cost-effective solutions while maintaining the quality and integrity of the design.
Communicating directly with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to present design proposals, address concerns, and ensure that all parties are aligned on project objectives and progress
Qualifications
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 15+ years work experience partnered with a Bachelor degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
