ResponsibilitiesOur newest opportunity is for a talented QA/QC Manager to join our team based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our team on a landmark mixed-use development project in Jeddah. The successful candidate will ensure that all construction activities, materials, and workmanship meet the highest international standards, client requirements, and regulatory codes. This role requires close collaboration with design, supervision, and project management teams to maintain rigorous quality assurance across all project phases.
We envisage success in this role to include;
- Developing, implementin, and maintaining the Project Quality Plan (PQP), inspection and test plans (ITPs), and related QA/QC documentation.
- Monitoring site construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and contractual requirements.
- Conducting regular quality audits, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action follow-ups.
- Reviewing and approve material submittals, method statements, and shop drawings from contractors.
- Coordinating with the client, contractor, and design consultants to resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
- Leading QA/QC meetings and report on quality performance, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Ensuring traceability of materials, tests, and inspections through effective record control.
- Supporting the implementation of ISO 9001 quality management systems within the project framework.
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior QA/QC staff and site inspection teams.
QualificationsTo be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 15 years work experience partnered with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of experience in QA/QC roles on large-scale building or mixed-use projects, preferably within the GCC region.
Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) is preferred.
