Job description
The Head of Data Intelligence will be responsible for establishing and leading the bank’s Data Intelligence capability within the Corporate Strategy Division. The role will develop hypothesis-driven analytics that integrate internal and external data to generate actionable insights on customer behavior, operational performance, market trends, and business opportunities.
The role will support strategic planning, KPI setting, executive decision-making, and cross-group performance monitoring through evidence-based analysis, forecasting, scenario modeling, and forward-looking insights.
• Develop and implement advanced analytics to support strategy development, KPI setting, annual planning, and executive decision-making.
• Build KPI driver trees, forecasting models, and scenario simulations to support bank-level planning and target-setting.
• Conduct root-cause diagnostics and performance analysis across business groups to identify improvement opportunities.
• Collect, synthesize, and analyze internal data, market benchmarks, and competitive intelligence.
• Support Strategy Delivery teams and business groups with targeted analytics during execution challenges.
• Produce insight-driven materials for CEO, Board, and senior leadership discussions.
• Lead monthly cross-group data exchange sessions to institutionalize data-driven decision-making.
• Support Finance and Strategy teams in estimating targets and validating performance assumptions.
• Establish analytics standards, templates, dashboards, and best practices within the Corporate Strategy Division.
• Build internal capability by training teams and transferring knowledge in data intelligence, analytics, and insight generation.
Skills
• Advanced analytics and statistical modeling.
• Strong command of SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent analytics and visualization tools.
• Ability to build forecasting models, scenario simulations, and KPI driver trees.
• Strong business translation skills, with the ability to turn data into strategic insights.
• Experience developing executive-ready insights, reports, and decision materials.
• Strong problem structuring and hypothesis-driven analysis.
• Ability to analyze customer behavior, operational performance, market trends, and competitive benchmarks.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, especially with senior leadership.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Strategy, Finance, Business Units, and Delivery teams.
• Strong understanding of banking KPIs, financial performance drivers, and business planning cycles.
