Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Intermediate Engineer - Saudi National to join our team! In this role you will get to work within a new PMO working on major highways / infrastructure projects in the KSA Capital, Riyadh City.
What You'll Be Doing:
Review the scope of engineering work, schedules, and budgets for the assigned project elements, monitoring progress to maintain those schedules and budgets.
Identifies and documents changes in scope.
Assists in determining the scope of procurement work, schedules, and budgets for the assigned projects, monitoring progress to maintain those procurements.
Assists in bid analysis to help determine supplier availability and capability.
Coordinates with other personnel from all technical support groups within the Company and from third parties.
Assists the assigned Project Manager in planning, directing, supervision, and controlling the execution of technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the project or study.
Ensures client criteria and scope are met.
Participates regularly in decision-making meetings with the client, design consultant and contractors.
Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
3+ years of related work experience.
Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering
Proficiency in using design software and undertaking / reviewing all associated calculations
Experience in reviewing third party designs and coordinating comments for approval
Experience of working within a multi-discipline team environment
Proactive approach to own activities and helping in other disciplines, as far as practically possible, to assist in PMO overall efficiency.
Proven working experience as a Project Engineer
Advanced MS Office skills
Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
Project management and supervision skills
Decision making ability and leadership skills
Time management and organization skills
