Job description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintenance & Post-Handover Management
Lead and manage the maintenance and post-handover team, ensuring all maintenance activities are carried out in line with contractual obligations and warranty requirements.
Handle client and owner requests during the Defects Liability Period (DLP), ensuring prompt response and resolution of issues.
Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans for handed-over projects to ensure system efficiency and reliability.
2. Close-out & Technical Coordination
Coordinate with project teams to collect all technical documents, As-Built drawings, and O&M manuals prior to project close-out.
Manage project close-out activities, including defect tracking, punch list closure, and final documentation submission.
Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, and stakeholders regarding maintenance progress and updates.
3. Supervision & Reporting
Supervise maintenance teams and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with schedules, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
Monitor maintenance activities and prepare periodic reports on project status, recurring issues, and corrective actions.
Ensure successful final handover after warranty completion and full close-out of all technical and administrative requirements.
4. Quality & Compliance
Analyze recurring defects and identify root causes, providing improvement recommendations for future projects.
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards across all maintenance activities.
Manage maintenance budgets and monitor expenditures for cost efficiency.
Support training programs for technicians to enhance performance and service quality.
Skills
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in maintenance and post-handover management within contracting or facilities management companies.
• Strong experience in MEP systems, architectural finishes, and warranty management.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in maintenance systems and Microsoft Office.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
