Overview of the Role
The Supply Chain Manager will lead the end-to-end Parts supply chain function for BYD & Denza brands across KSA, owning forecasting, inventory planning, replenishment, and operational efficiency across the Central Distribution Center and all branch locations. The role carries direct commercial impact on Aftersales profitability, parts availability, and customer experience, and acts as the primary KSA supply chain interface with the OE principal. This is a senior leadership role critical to scaling BYD & Denza's Aftersales footprint in the Kingdom.
What You Will Do
Supply Chain Strategy & Planning
- Define and execute the Parts supply chain strategy for BYD & Denza in KSA, covering forecasting, replenishment cycles, stocking norms, and obsolescence management.
- Build and maintain demand forecasting models aligned to vehicle parc growth, seasonality, campaigns, and warranty cycles.
- Set inventory targets across CDC and branches to optimize fill rates, availability, and working capital.
Inventory Management & Operations
- Govern core inventory KPIs including stock turn, first-pick fill rate, back-order ratio, aging stock, and obsolescence provisions.
- Drive inventory accuracy through cycle counts, governance routines, and ERP discipline.
- Standardize branch parts operations, replenishment cycles, VOR processes, and emergency order management.
OE & Vendor Management
- Act as the primary KSA counterpart to BYD HQ supply chain teams for ordering, allocations, and supply commitments.
- Manage OE order cycles, escalation routes, and resolution of shortages or supply disruptions.
- Negotiate supply terms, pricing reviews, and service-level commitments with OE and third-party vendors.
Warehousing & Logistics
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, customs clearance, freight optimization, and last-mile distribution to branches.
- Drive warehouse productivity, layout optimization, and adherence to safety, quality, and HSE standards.
Reporting & Analytics
- Deliver monthly supply chain performance reviews to Aftersales and brand leadership.
- Build dashboards covering inventory health, OE order performance, and branch availability.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with Aftersales, Service, Sales, Finance, and IT to align supply chain decisions with commercial priorities.
- Support new branch openings, brand expansions, and product launch readiness from a parts perspective.
Skills
Required Skills to Be Successful
- Strong commercial and analytical mindset with deep understanding of automotive parts economics
- Hands-on inventory planning and demand forecasting capability
- Proven OE/principal stakeholder management at HQ level
- Operational excellence orientation across CDC and branch operations
- Advanced ERP and BI tools usage (SAP, Oracle, Kerridge, Power BI)
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Negotiation, problem solving, and decision making under pressure
What Qualifies You for the Role
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related discipline. MBA or supply chain certification (CPIM, CSCP) preferred.
- 13–20 years of experience in automotive Parts supply chain, with strong exposure across CDC, branch operations, and OE management.
- Proven track record of establishing or transforming parts operations across multi-branch dealer networks.
- Strong working knowledge of automotive ERP systems and BI reporting tools.GCC or KSA market experience strongly preferred.
